The Get Started Web Design & Branding Packages are my most popular. They allow your business to get online quickly and affordably with a professionally designed customized website based on one of my design templates. The template you choose will be customized for your business using your visual branding and your content.

The Get Started Package is perfect if you’ve been in business 0-2 years. You may or may not already have a website but you’re definitely ready for one that’s been professionally designed.

A brand identity is required in order to purchase a website through me. That brand identity can either be created through me, through another designer, or even DIYed so long as it contains the basic elements of visual branding

There are three versions of the Get Started Web Design Package: Branding only, Website only, and Branding + Web Design.

Branding Only

If you want to DIY your own website, already have a website but no visual branding or someone else is building your website for you, this is the right choice for you. The “Branding Only” version of the Get Started Package includes the following:

Branding + Web Design

If you’re ready to create an authentic online presence for your business and need branding, or need to tweak the branding you already have, this is right package for you. The “Branding + Web Design” version of the Get Started Package includes a bonus of custom branded images for your new website.

2 Week Website Design

The 2-Week Website package is the right choice if you already have visual branding but need a new website. Your website will start with one of my design templates, then customized using your visual branding and content.

Your new website will be built using WordPress and the Elementor page builder plugin. Two of the main reasons I recommend WordPress are…

  1. It’s easy for you to update your site’s content.
  2.  WordPress is flexible and easily able to grow with you as your business grows.

  1. Choose a website design template from my design library.
  2. Schedule a 30-minute call where we’ll discuss the needs and goals for your business and website.
  3. After the call, if you’d like to move forward, sign the project proposal I provide and pay the deposit.

To make the Get Started Web Design Packages more affordable, each website begins with one of the design templates in my library. I will use your visual branding (logo, colors, fonts, etc.) to customize the template to match your brand.

I will also use your text and images to build each page of your new website. The layout of each page must stay consistent to the original design template. However minor tweaks can be achieved here and there as needed.

  1. If I’m not also creating the branding for your website, I will need your visual branding: logo, color palette, font palette, and other specialty or customized / branded photos or icons for your site.
  2. I need all of the content for your site: copy or text, photos, PDFs, etc.
  3. I need the admin login information to your host provider and domain registrar. If you already have a website, I’ll also need the admin login to your current site as well.
  4. And of course, you’ll need to sign the project proposal I send and pay the 50% deposit to be placed in my web design work queue.

When I’m able to START building your website depends on two things:

  1. How quickly you can write your website’s content, and
  2. What my build calendar looks like at the time.

In general, it should take you about 2-3 weeks to write all the content for your website and complete all the pre-build work. To make certain your website build goes smoothly, all of the pre-build work must be completed at least one week prior to your scheduled website build.

Keep in mind that I schedule no more than one Get Started website build per week. So there might be a slight waiting period before the next spot becomes available on my calendar.

Once I start building your website it typically takes no more than 2 weeks. If you’ve purchased a customized feature like a WooCommerce store, it may take longer.

If you’ve purchased the BRANDING + WEB DESIGN package, it will take about 3 weeks once I begin the process.

Schedule your website build after you’ve created all your website’s content and completed all the pre-build tasks.

When your website build begins, it’s very important that you’re available to provide quick feedback during the process.

For that reason, it’s important to schedule your website build during a time when you are available to provide feedback. Going on vacation or scheduling it during the busiest time for your business isn’t a good idea.

You do! Gathering and creating the content of your website is part of the pre-build phase of your website project. Step #3 of the process.

“Content” includes, text, images, video, PDFs, etc. It’s important that all of your content is ready to go before your website build begins. If you are unable to provide all of the content before your scheduled website build, we will move your build to a later date.

If your website project doesn’t include customized branded images, you must provide the images as part of the content for your site.

If you purchased the BRANDING + WEB DESIGN plan, or purchased a custom image add-on, I will use the photos you provide and style them to match your visual brand. However, you provide the actual images I use in those designs.

All Get Started websites are published to your domain and are fully functional and ready to go with your visual branding and content.

You’ll also receive a personalized website walk-through, access to training videos and access to a free Facebook group for ongoing support.

All Get Started Branding includes logo design, color palette, font palette, mood board and style guide.

If you’ve purchased the Branding + Web Design package, you’ll also receive customized branded images for your new website.

If you purchase an add-on, the cost of that add-on will be reflected in the project proposal I send after our strategy call.

You will need to purchase website hosting and register a domain. The cost of hosting is typically $10-$25 per month for quality hosting. Domain registration costs between $10-$40 per year, depending on the top level domain (TLD) you choose. (.com, .org, .net)

The pro version of the Elementor page builder plugin will be included for one-year in the cost of your website. After one-year, you will be responsible for paying the yearly fee. However, the current yearly cost is $50 or less.

Yes! All projects automatically require a 50% deposit to start the process. The final 50% payment isn’t due until your project is complete.

However, if you need this broken down into more payments, just let me know during our 30-minute strategy call. Typically that means 3 equal payments. But if you require a payment schedule spread out more than that, it can probably be arranged.

Short answer: you can receive a 100% refund up to 24 hours after you’ve paid your 50% deposit.

Longer answer: Due to the digital nature of this work, refunds are not possible after this 24 hour period. This includes the time before, during and after your website’s build
